In the event of a crash, the lockstops on the yoke can often get broken off easily in the violence that is a motorcycle crash, this can result in clip-ons/handlebars moving back further than normal and impacting the fuel tank or frame causing more damage, R&G Lockstop savers prevent this from happening, adding another layer of protect to a vulnerable part of the bike
